This marks the first of my mixed media painted works incorporating my original photography with jewelry, poetry and drawing into a series of spiritual explorations. Inspired by a trip to Paris, I was mesmerized by classical busts found at Rodin's Garden and the Louvre. I returned home with a burning desire to create art that expressed core personal, yet universal emotions which resulted in a solo show titled "Please Love my Art." This controversial art inspires fear and anguish in some and a deep connection for others.

In dealing with the act of facing death, the devil within us, or the angel within us, we struggle with rising above not only life's difficult circumstances, but with self-acceptance and our personal limitations somewhat dictated as a result of the human condition.
"Salvation" speaks to the dark side of the soul reaching for goodness and further, in the act of facing death, asks for forgiveness both from ourselves and from the eternal master.
